WHAT: A 3,000-square-foot house has three bedrooms and two baths and sits on 13 acres near the small town of Cora

SETTING: Cora is in western Wyoming in the Green River Valley at the base of the Wind River Range, a section of the Rocky Mountains known locally as the Winds. This house has views of several historic ranches that have been in operation since the 19th century. Beyond the ranches, the granite peaks of the Winds are visible in the distance.
Downtown Cora consists of a single building a post office. Stores, galleries and restaurants can be found 10 miles away in Pinedale. The larger tourist hub of Jackson Hole is about 75 miles away.
The region is a popular destination for hunting, fishing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Many residents keep horses. There is one other house within walking distance. Otherwise the nearest neighbors are several miles away.
INSIDE: The living room, on the bottom level, is tiled with limestone and travertine. A flat-screen TV is mounted above the fireplace. The kitchen has a handmade copper sink. The master suite, on the ground floor, has its own fireplace, and antique fir pocket doors from an old ranch house. OUTDOOR SPACE: The 13-acre parcel of land has been kept wild to maximize the natural beauty of the setting. Wildflowers grow among the sagebrush and willows. The property has an outbuilding that is used as a garage and a workshop. The county permits up to 26 horses to be kept on the property, according to the listing agent.

SETTING: Inman Square, which has many small independent shops, is in walking distance of Harvard Square and Central Square, where many of Harvard University’s offices and classrooms are housed. Broadway Marketplace, an indoor market with specialty food vendors, is a 10-minute walk. The new central branch of the Cambridge Public Library, a block away from the house, is nearing completion.
“Inman Square is what Harvard Square used to be,” said Christian Jones, one of the listing agents. “You can get a meal for $5 or you can get a meal for $50.”
The nearest stop on Boston’s subway system, referred to locally as the T, is a 15-minute walk from the house. From there it takes about 25 minutes to get to downtown Boston.
INSIDE: This duplex apartment is at the back of an 1880s Victorian house that was converted to condos in 1990. The front of the house has three owner-occupied apartments.
